Forensic Dentistry and Anthropology Course

4 day course presented by members of the NSW Forensic Dental Unit

This course introduces participants to the dental element of identification science, with a particular emphasis on Disaster Victim Identification, culminating in a practical workshop run under the supervision of NSW Police.

Additional topics covered include forensic pathology, bite mark interpretation, comparative anatomy, photographic superimposition, legal aspects and an anthropological workshop covering race, sex, age and stature estimation conducted in The Shellshear Museum in the University of Sydney.

The course runs annually, usually in August and costs $750.00
